Wasso Hospital is equipped with an X-Ray and Ultrasound Department. Bernad Paul has been the head of the service for 10 years and he is working in collaboration with another specialist. On average, they are receiving 5 patients per day in the X-Ray service and 10 patients per day in the Ultrasound service.

The X-Ray machine is used for doing investigations about scars, fractures, cancer lungs and many other things. The Ultrasound machine is used to observe and control the development of the fetus, abdominal organs, etc …

The X-Ray and Ultrasound department is very old and the ceiling is in very poor condition. Humidity has damaged the premises, making them unsanitary. They need new machines, digital ones, and new beds as well. Funds will serve to rebuild the ceiling and renovate the premises.
