MEDICAL RECORD DEPARTMENT

Four people are working from Monday to Sunday in the Medical Record Department directed by Eliaichi John Urasa. This service welcomes around 25 patients per day and its main mission is to register them, to fix appointments and to create files for each individual. To do so, they are working with a computer even though all the files are not registered in the latter. In order to improve the way of working of this department, new modern computers must be bought and more people must be hired. In addition, this room needs a few renovations : new lights, chairs, desks and ventilation could be useful as it can be warm which makes it difficult for the staff to work in good conditions. It could be interesting, for the patients as well as the hospital, to offer the possibility to take appointments through the website.

  • Also, we have Laboratory services and Radiology services (Ultrasound, X-ray and CT-Scan). The hospital has recently installed a new and digital X-ray machine and CT-Scan machine.

  • CTC Clinic (Comprehensive Care Clinic)

    • iv. Care and Treatment Centers: Our care and treatment centers are dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Services offered include:

  • ART Clinic (Antiretroviral Therapy Clinic)
  • PITC (Provider-Initiated Testing and Counseling)
  • PMTCT (Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission)
  • Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Clinic These centers aim to improve the quality of life for patients living with HIV/AIDS through access to comprehensive care, treatment, and support services.

    • v. RCH Clinic: Our Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Clinic offers a range of services to support maternal and child health, including:

  • Antenatal and Postnatal Clinic
  • Children under 5 years clinic
  • Family planning clinic
  • Vaccination services These services focus on promoting the health and well-being of mothers and children, ensuring safe pregnancies, healthy childbirth, and optimal growth and development for children under our care.
