Lowering cholesterol supports heart health and may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Helpful measures include eating a balanced diet, limiting saturated and trans fats, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly and avoiding tobacco use.

Cholesterol levels should be confirmed through a blood test and discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.

Low blood pressure may be associated with dehydration, blood loss, pregnancy, certain medicines, heart conditions, infection or hormonal disorders.

Seek medical assistance when low blood pressure is accompanied by fainting, severe weakness, confusion, chest pain or difficulty breathing.

Warts are common skin growths associated with certain types of human papillomavirus. The virus may enter through small cuts or damaged areas of the skin.

A healthcare professional can examine persistent, painful, bleeding or rapidly changing skin growths.

Warts may spread through direct skin contact or through objects that have touched an affected area. Transmission may be easier when the skin is wet, irritated or damaged.

Avoid picking warts and do not share personal items such as towels or razors.

Nausea can be associated with infections, food-related illness, pregnancy, medicines, migraine, motion sickness and several digestive conditions.

Seek medical attention if nausea is severe, persistent, associated with dehydration, abdominal pain, blood, confusion or repeated vomiting.

Preeclampsia is a pregnancy-related condition commonly associated with high blood pressure and signs that organs may be affected.

Pregnant women should seek urgent medical assessment for severe headache, visual disturbance, upper abdominal pain, sudden swelling, difficulty breathing or reduced fetal movement.
