This service has a great capacity of beds. Indeed, 8 postnatal beds are available as well as one single room for emergencies.

In addition, there are 40+ beds and showers for the women waiting to deliver and 2 delivery beds. However, these delivery beds are not really suitable and must be replaced to offer a better comfort to the pregnant women.

Unfortunately, the service materials must be improved. Indeed, it is mandatory to have warm lights and incubators for the premature babies. Moreover, the service needs lights for examinations, a blood pressure machine, and a pulse examinator. This list is not exhaustive.

As well as the other services, the labor ward suffers from a lack of staff ; the nurses are forced to work 8+ hours per day, making it difficult to take time to keep an eye on every patient.

All the nurses are still working on paper, even though they have a computer. It seems like it is more suitable for them and they suffer from a lack of time to put all the information in the computer.
